The Riverview Bar & Terrace at the Kilkenny River Court Hotel is a place of friendliness and warmth in the heart of Kilkenny City. It is the ideal setting for a morning coffee with home baked scones or warm pastries, lunch, evening dining or a few drinks with friends whilst enjoying the picture-perfect views of Kilkenny Castle and the River Nore.
The Riverview Bar now offers a delicious Lunch and Dinner Menu, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy all day long. For our younger guests, our Kids Menu has plenty of tasty options too!

The Riverview Bar is also the perfect setting for small gatherings, whether it's a birthday, family celebration, or work event. A private area can be reserved upon request, allowing you to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Riverview Bar while having your own exclusive space.
The Outdoor Terrace is ideal for a bite to eat situated on the banks of the River Nore and under the shadow of the magnificent Kilkenny Castle. We offer a walk-in service on The Terrace and no advanced bookings are taken to be fair to all guests.
We serve a delicious array of Bistro food throughout the day and evening, from salads, steaks, burgers, sandwiches and lots more not forgetting our tempting desserts and coffees. During the warmer days the outdoor Terrace area is alive with both residents and locals alike due to its stunning location on the water's edge. Locally the Terrace is known as the ultimate al fresco wining and dining area in Kilkenny and is the place to be.
At night the Riverview Bar is bustling with guests enjoying the wide range of wines, beers, spirits and not to mention our famous cocktails.
