KILKENNY GOLF CLUB

Description: This golf course was set on 120 acres of parkland, measuring 5,933 meters with a par of 71. It's a popular venue for regional play-offs and finals in Leinster, and has hosted the All Ireland Cups and Shields finals. The mostly flat terrain features abundant trees, challenging par threes, a long par four eleventh, and a tough final four holes. Built on a sand pit, the course has excellent drainage and rarely closes due to rain. The sand-based greens remain playable even after heavy rainfall. The course, enhanced over the years, is playable year-round.
Location: Only a five minute walk from the hotel.

GOWRAN PARK

Description: Gowran Park developed this unique 18 hole golf course to compliment its renowned race meetings in 2001. Incorporating a mixture of established woodland and lakes, this Jeff Howes designed par 71, 18 hole golf course provides an excellent test for the low handicap golfer whilst also being very enjoyable for the middle to high handicappers.
Location: Only a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

MOUNT JULIET GOLF CLUB

Description: A Jack Nicklaus designed championship 18-hole golf course, Mount Juliet is the jewel in the crown of golf in Kilkenny. It features include the stunning 3rd hole, a par 3 from an elevated tee to a green guarded by a natural stream and lake ... one that golfers always remember. Also the par 5, 10th hole with its copse of trees which tests the golfers strategy. The final hole, a long par 4 with water all down the left and a narrow approach to the green has decided many a tournament result.
Location: Only a 25 minute drive from the hotel.

CASTLECOMER GOLF CLUB

Description: Set in a 200 year old forest, Castlecomer's course provides a great test of golf combined with breathtaking views of the local terrain. With the development of this course completed in 2003, it is clear to everyone at Castlecomer Golf Club that Pat Ruddy has designed a unique Golf Course.

Golfing at Ravenport Resort, Curracloe Links – Coming in 2026

Coming soon to the stunning Wexford coastline, Curracloe Links Golf Course is set to become one of Ireland's premier golfing destinations. This 18-hole championship course is designed to offer a true links golf experience, with sweeping views of the Irish Sea, natural sand dunes, and undulating fairways that challenge and delight golfers of all levels.
While the course is not yet open to the public, anticipation is building as the official opening is scheduled for 2026. Once open, Curracloe Links will provide an unparalleled golfing experience, with each hole thoughtfully integrated into the rugged landscape, creating a harmonious blend of nature and sport. The coastal winds will add an extra layer of challenge, requiring strategic play and precise shot-making.
In addition to the course, the development will include a state-of-the-art clubhouse, featuring a pro shop stocked with the latest gear, as well as a bar and restaurant where golfers can unwind after a day on the greens.
