Yulefest takes place from November 30th 2024 for Christmas markets, children’s entertainment, live music and lots more. The Yulefest programme of events has something for everyone. Riverside Restaurant
Join us in the stylish surroundings of Riverside Restaurant with lovely views of Kilkenny Castle and the River Nore. We are pleased to offer both Christmas Lunch and Christmas Dinner throughout December with both 2 course and 3 course options available. Explore our sample Lunch Menu and Dinner Menu, prepared from the best locally sourced produce by our dedicated team of Chefs.
Always a treat, and particularly nice at Christmas time, our Festive Afternoon Tea will be served daily from 1pm - 5pm and is a relaxed option for gathering with family and friends during December. We're also delighted to offer a Kids Menu for little ones planning to be extra good before Santa arrives!
Riverview Bar
Informal gatherings with colleagues or friends this December are ideal at Riverview Bar & Terrace. Our All Day Menu including daily specials, has something both light and something substantial on offer. Our Kids Menu is always available if you're planning a quick bite to eat after busy Christmas shopping in the city.

We are delighted to present our specially curated Bridge House Dinner Menu, featuring a 3-course meal option, crafted by our talented chefs using the finest locally sourced ingredients.
For a more relaxed affair, why not indulge in the Bridge House Afternoon Tea, served daily from 1pm - 5pm? A perfect way to gather with close family and friends, savour delightful treats and festive favourites in a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We also cater for younger guests with our specially designed Kids Menu, making it a joyful experience for the whole family as we anticipate Santa’s visit.
Private Dining
Our Marshall Suite is a wonderful space overlooking Kilkenny Castle with an adjoining Terrace area accommodating up to 260 guests. Our Events Team are on hand to tailor a package and menu to meet your needs. Minimum numbers of 80 guests applies for private dining in our banqueting suites during December 2024.
